The WBC has recognized close to 12,000 craftsmen over last 61 years for their workmanship on more than 3,100 winning projects. The organization created the Craftsmanship Awards Program to honor those who individually provided exceptional workmanship on buildings throughout the Washington, DC area. Awards are offered for a wide range of skills including the technical installation of mechanical systems, cabinet and woodwork, artistic painting, and masonry and stone work. This year, the WBC’s Annual Craftsmanship Awards Banquet was attended by more than 1,200 commercial real estate industry professionals, spouses and friends.

The WBC is a non-political association dedicated to building relationships with and among members, encouraging collaboration on best practices, and working together to advance the industry as a whole. Founded in 1937, the association has served as a resource to the metropolitan Washington building industry for decades.
