CADD Designer

Transwall Office Systems, Inc. a manufacturer of moveable walls and systems located in West Chester, PA has an immediate opening for a CADD Designer. This position with be part of our Sales Operation function and will support Project Management in providing CADD services as defined by our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed shop drawing package (cover sheet, plan views, elevations, details, door schedules) which clearly defines our
  • scope of work for secured orders
  • Provide take-off/bill of materials for review and order entry
  • Prepare a list of deviations between contract documents and working drawings
  • Assist with site verification and material inventory management
  • Manage all aspects of project submittals including finish samples, door and door hardware templates
  • Some day and occasional overnight travel may be required to oversee and support project implementation


  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Some post secondary education preferred
  • Candidates must have advanced AutoCAD and computer skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Giza, or CAP a plus

Purchasing Assistant – Part Time

The primary role of the Purchasing Assistant is to support the purchasing functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase orders for raw or job related materials
  • Maintain inventory of MRO, office supplies, coffee, etc. and order as needed
  • Responsible for daily and weekly follow up with vendors on all open orders
  • Assist in inventory counting as required
  • Generate various reports
  • Generate shipping folders, maintain and help in file close out
  • Back up for receiving paper work
  • Generate copies of listings as needed


  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Internet and Outlook
  • Prior purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience working in an ERP related materials environment preferred including MRP


  • Detail oriented
  • Good basic math skills
  • Self starter and independent worker
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, vendor and customer base by phone or email
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to flex hours

Truck Driver

The Truck Driver safely loads and transports finished product to the customer to meet the on-time delivery schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares truck for loading and shipping product
  • Completes documentation by counting, verifying and recording parts loaded
  • Comply with road safety practices and standards
  • Accurately completes drivers’ logs and other required paperwork
  • Perform other assigned duties in production


  • 2+ years truck driving experience in urban areas
  • Must be able to make deliveries of product in van, box truck or other company vehicle to NYC and other urban areas
  • Must be available to work overtime on short notice including working Fridays, weekends and hours outside of regularly
  • scheduled workday.
  • Able to lift up to 50# frequently
  • Prolonged sitting, walking and standing
  • Able to use navigation (GPS) systems


  • 2+ years truck driving experience
  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Stable work record
