Human Resources Manager

Field Service Technician

Exciting opportunity to be a part of the Project Management/Installation team of a well established and growing company in the architectural wall industry. The Field Service Technician provides assistance during the critical stages of product installation, assesses the field conditions and trouble shoots as needed during the installation process. The Field Service Technician will also assist with obtaining accurate field measurements using tools for product installation. The ideal candidate has experience in the construction trades and a background in furniture or architectural walls product installation. Knowledge of construction process a plus. Must have ability to read and understand architectural drawings and construction documents. Based in West Chester, PA with travel to job sites and some overnight travel required. Occasional lifting up to 75# required.

Field Service Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance during critical stages of product installation

Qualifications

Architectural CADD Designer

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Architectural CAD Designer to join an established and growing organization.

Manufacturer of movable wall systems in West Chester, PA has an immediate opening for an Architectural CADD Designer. Responsibilities include creating detailed specific drawing packages and providing product takeoff of BOM lists. Preparing lists of deviations between contract documents and shop drawings. This position supports and assists the project team. Requires 2-3 years architectural/construction/drafting experience, advanced AutoCAD, proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook, strong math skills, able to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications. Must be familiar with structural and environment building systems, ie ceilings, lighting, sprinklers and HVAC.

Estimator (Commercial Interiors)

Transwall Office Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Estimator with experience in the commercial interior sector.

The Estimator reviews construction drawings and specs and generates accurate and timely estimates. Prepares quotes to accompany proposal drawings. Supports project management including communicating to the team scope and product required for awarded projects.

Qualified candidates have experience in estimating commercial interior projects. Applicants must have experience in reading and understanding construction documents including architectural plans and specifications. Qualified candidates must have strong computer capabilities with MS Office products and other estimating or proposal technology tools. Knowledge of building systems ie, ceilings, lighting, sprinklers, HVAC and construction process is desired.

  • A.S. Degree or comparable work experience required.

Qualified applicants must have

  • 5+ years sales experience with specific knowledge of Architectural products
  • Ability to maintain a high level of connectivity to influencers and decision makers in the market
  • Solid working knowledge of the contract sales process
  • Demonstrated track record in generating and defending product specifications on projects of all sizes

Truck Driver

The Truck Driver safely loads and transports finished product to the customer to meet the on-time delivery schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares truck for loading and shipping product
  • Completes documentation by counting, verifying and recording parts loaded
  • Comply with road safety practices and standards
  • Accurately completes drivers’ logs and other required paperwork
  • Perform other assigned duties in production

Requirements

  • 2+ years truck driving experience in urban areas
  • Must be able to make deliveries of product in van, box truck or other company vehicle to NYC and other urban areas
  • Must be available to work overtime on short notice including working Fridays, weekends and hours outside of regularly
  • scheduled workday.
  • Able to lift up to 50# frequently
